Christ the King Church is a community of Catholic faithful who believe in living their lives by embodying the mercy, love, and charity found in the Gospel.
At CtK, we are more concerned with cultivating discipleship and less concerned with stoking division and discord. We are here to grow closer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. We do this by faithfully adhering to the Roman rite liturgy and our Catholic traditions.
At CtK, we do not tell you who to vote for or seek to create a feeling of guilt for getting a divorce. We understand that we are all human and that often we need support from our community as we seek to make the right decisions, not ostracization and condemnation.
We do not weaponize the sacraments, and we believe that a loving, monogamous, same-sex couple is entitled to be treated with dignity and acceptance.
We are pro-life. But this means that we are also pro-life for all people, regardless of sexual orientation, race, marital status, economic status, or past. This is because we believe that all people, as creations of God, are inherently good and of unmeasurable worth.
We are a place where it is safe to ask questions and discern. Our faith is wonderfully mysterious, and not every answer is black and white. However, we believe that finding answers based on scripture, drawing from the rich treasury of contributions over thousands of years, and most of all, rooted in prayer, can be done with a developed conscience.
